West Cumbria Dyslexia Association
EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
Wednesday 25th May 2011
Dear Members,
Your Committee is appealing to all members for your help today.
Following our meeting in Whitehaven on March 17th about the cuts in Education Funding, we are very concerned that Reading Intervention and Specialist Literacy support may no longer be available to the children who need it. The onus is being transferred from the County Council to individual schools.
It is now more important than ever that we have a strong West Cumbria Dyslexia Association and we need your help to achieve this.
Please support us by attending an Extraordinary General Meeting at the United Reform Church, Whitehaven, on Wednesday May 25th at 7.30p.m. to discuss the way forward. (Please note the change of date from original letter).
New Members are always welcome and of course refreshments will be available.
Yours Sincerely,
Doris Pearce (Chair) and Your Committee
West Cumbria Dyslexia Association
