Frequently Asked Questions on Dyslexia

There are so many of these, and we are still working on developing this aspect of the site, particularly to make it relevant on a local level.

In the meantime, please use the WCDA links pages to go to excellent sites from The British Dyslexia Association and other organisations who have national information.

For example: The BDA faq page http://www.bdadyslexia.org.uk/faq.html

Driving Test

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) who administer driving tests in the UK can make special provision for Dyslexics during the theory and practical parts of the driving test. There is a detailed explanation of what can be done at this BDA page, along with further contact details.

Do colours make a difference?

It is the opinion of people at WCDA that colours can make a significant difference as to how easy it is to read something. See Colorimeter articles on this site and WCDA links to other sources.
